Responsibilities
- Ensure that all vehicles are safely transported and positioned on all life equipment;
- Maintain a personal tool set with everything needed for diagnostics and repair;
- Diagnose all current issues with vehicles;
- Attend weekly safety meetings;
- Work with Service Writer to complete estimates for customers;
- Keep detailed records of all part, fluids and time for each project;
- Maintain a clean and safe shop environment;
- Have the ability to use an Android tablet to complete inspections and estimates.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver License;
- Manufacturer-specific training preferred;
- Five (5)-plus years of experience in relevant field;
- Attention to detail and the ability follow direction precisely;
- Skilled in the operation of shop machinery;
- Knowledge of OBD1 and ODB2;
- Familiarity with Versus Pro or other similar diagnostic systems;
- The ability to work overhead and bent over for long periods of time;
- The ability to lift up to 70 pounds unassisted.
